Based on the famous SAS smock, our improved version of this incredible field jacket has an even greater load carrying capacity, with no less than eleven pockets! Externally, there are four generous pockets on the front of the smock and one on each sleeve, each secured with a flap and covered buttons, to prevent snagging. Internally, there are four more large pockets in the front, all with velcro closure as well as a large "poachers" pocket in the rear panel, with access from both sides. A high collar and large removable hood, combined with a wind flap over the zipper ensure maximum comfort in cold weather. The entire smock is designed to be loose fitting, for maximum mobility in the field and for wear with a liner (like the ECWCS Polar Fleece Jacket/Liner), while double drawstrings at the waist and bottom provide very practical adjustment. The elbow/lower arm area as well as on the shoulders and hood are reinforced with 325D Cordura for maximum durability and weather resistance. Double stitching and bar tacks are used in all critical areas. The sleeves have a snag-free snap wrist adjustment at the cuff.

Tough and very comfortable 50/50 NYCO Rip-stop Multicam fabric from CRYE Precision is used throughout, with wear and water resistant 325D Cordura reinforcements on the elbows, shoulders and hood.  Crye Precision's Multicam fabrics are milspec (MIL-PRF-MCCUU) and their camouflage abilities are second to none in a wide range of environmental conditions when observed in both the visual and near Infra Red (night vision) spectrums.  Like our Tactical Field Pants and Shirt, the smock is the result of extensive consultation with operators from many different organizations and backgrounds and we truly feel we have come as close to the perfect no-nonsense field jacket as possible!
