Our 4.0 Shotgun Backpack Scabbard was designed in cooperation with the RCMP Emergency Response Teams and built by Eagle Industries.  In true Eagle fashion, this backpack scabbard is built to last, using 1000 denier Cordura throughout as well as mil-spec webbing and stitching.  The entire scabbard consists of doubled-up Cordura, and the backside is padded with closed-cell foam.

 

The backpack straps are nicely padded and include a fully adjustable sternum strap.  They can also be removed, leaving four anchor points by which the scabbard can be attached to another backpack if required.  An adjustable security strap with quick-release keeps the shotgun in the scabbard during strenuous activity.

 

A unique feature of this backpack scabbard is the fact that it can be easily and securily folded part-way, creating a shorter scabbard for short breacher shotguns.  Measurement for the full scabbard is 29" (74cm) and folded it is 22.5" (57cm), while the width at the top is 5.5" (14cm).
