The GAMMA is a ceramic hard armour triple curve plate ergonomically designed using proven technology.  Providing the wearer NIJ Level IV protection when worn in conjunction with a Level II soft armour system, which includes protection from high velocity threats including: 30-06 AP M2, 7.62 x 51 NATO AP, 7.62 x 51 NATO Ball, 7.62 x 39 AK 47 MS Core, and 5.56 x 45 SS109 & M855.

The GAMMA has an Areal Density of 7.2 lb/ft² (35 kg/m²) giving a plate weight of approximately 6.5 lbs (3.0 kg) for a typical plate of size 10" x 12" (as shown above).  Thickness is only .5" or 1.3cm.
